This week we welcomed Islyn Gilmore to the lab. Islyn brings a lot of experience in livestock reproductive biology which will be a great benefit to the lab overall. She is joining us to work on our zebrafish resource projects, including developing landing pads, conditional alleles, and cre drivers in conjunction with the McGrail, Essner, Friedberg, and Ekker labs at Iowa State and the University of Texas. Below she is hard at work learning the intricate techniques associated with assembly of a adjustable standing desk with Jacob.
