Injections are a go

We are now actually doing injections in our fish room. It’s been a long time coming after waiting on renovations, fish to age up, and accumulating equipment from eBay and other places to give us more than one injection station.

Islyn and I did the first injections in our facility on March 10th, 2026. Luckily we have been doing some injections across campus in Dr. Bruce Riley’s lab. Later this month Emily and Islyn injected while we showed some undergraduates (Maryn Tschoepe and Benjamin Cessnun) the process and even let them give it a go.

I hope this is the start of regular injections. We should have a third station soon. Just waiting on another micromanipulator.
