Addison joined us during the summer of 2026 as a member of the inaugural SURE-FIT program.  A summer intensive research experience for Animal Science students from Texas A&M, Texas State, and Prairie View.  Addison is a student a Texas State who spent the summer learning PCR and working on targeting a variant associated with Bovine Congestive Heart Failure in the zebrafish genome to see if we can model BCHF in zebrafish.  Addison was mentored by Emily Thornton.
